( video ) America: Greet the new arrival to the embassy

[ America pops up, all smiles as usual. The camera shakes a bit as he moves up the stairs to his apartment. ]

Yeesh, usually I check in more than this, but you know how it goes: busy taking down vicious beasts, throwing birthday parties, saving the city, the usual! Ah, hold on...

[ He fumbles in his pocket for a key, opening his door... ]

So earlier I had this really good idea for-!

[ This is promptly cut off by a scream. It is the scream of someone who is now witnessing their precious pet dog(dragonwolfmonsterhellbeast) being eviscerated and eaten. Actually, here, have a quick view of the scene while America presses himself against the wall: ...why, it's only Nepeta enjoying a meal consisting of monster meat! What's so terrible about that?

Fucking everything, damn it. That blood splatter on the floor was his pet. How would you feel if someone ate your dog? Not too hot. Even if the creature eating your pet happens to be a cute little troll girl who, at the moment, looks a bit like a pet who just got caught doing something they shouldn't. The irony of this situation continues to mount. ]

PUPPY, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! OHMYGOD IT'S EATING MY DOG!

[ Cue more incoherent screaming as he grapples for his shotgun. Amidst his struggling, the communicator switches off.

Ya! You look better now too. So, don't mention it. I'm sure you'd do the same if something went down over here. Though, I doubt Toku is going to give me any problems... unless something comes to eat his hamsters.

[He tilts his heads towards the fuzzballs across the room before going for more beer of both the dark and root kinds.]

I had a few of those when I first got here. Broke my nose, even! Ha ha!

[Oh, how he hated being beaten up by not only a old woman, but a BLIND old woman at it! Then turned around and got punched in the eye by a kid.]

'Course I'd help ya out! That's what dates do! More importantly, that's what heroes do.

[ He offers a wink and a grin. I'm now imagining Tatsumi getting beaten up by the old voodoo woman in Princess and the Frog. Anyway.

America throws a glance to the hamsters across the room. ]

...You ate hamsters?

[Tatsumi blinks back before bursting into laughter]

Ha ha ha! No! I- I meant-

[Ok, give him a few seconds to stop laughing.]

I had a few "off days" when I first got here.

[ America starts laughing himself. Silly him, he should've known that hamsters wouldn't be a substantial meal. They're tinier than burgers! ]

Okay okay, that's understandable! First while is always the worst.

[That and they barely have any blood in them. He'd starve either way. Actually, he is starting to ponder if he should tell America or not.]

[He takes another sip from his drinks before sighing, still smiling.]

[He wraps an arm around America, all smiles. Either America is really gullible and stupid or he's Gullible and ignorant. yay~]

A year ago I might've been weirded out, but now it's like I'm meeting werepires left and right and it's okay! A lot has happened and if I can stand to be around a ghost kid without screaming my throat raw, I can handle dating a vampire!

[This was all very reassuring, if Tatsumi actually were a normal person and was worried about things like impressions on a personal level. No, it's all business and game. He leans in close to America's neck, purposely]

Good... because I've been wondering what you taste like.

[ Hope Tatsumi wasn't expecting some sort of blustering, because America's wearing his usual cocky grin.

And yes, he mentally just said "that's what she said." ]

If the rest of me is anything to go by, I'm gonna guess pretty freaking fantastic.

[Tatsumi's lips are right against America's neck now while his fingers hold the nation's collar aside]

[Honestly he planned to drain America but he is about to learn the hard way that plans around America just never work. He brings a hand up to hold America's neck and head while the fangs slid out from behind his teeth. He bites, puncturing the nation's neck and drawing out the crimson liquid.

But the taste Tatsumi gets isn't of the normal red metallic flavoring. No, it's as though someone took a vanilla ice cream, coated it around a hamburger, and blended it with lots and lots of food coloring. He barely drinks a cup worth before pulling away, not sure if he likes it or not. It definitely wasn't what he was expecting. The werepire even leaves a bit of blood around the corner of his mouth as he stares blankly at the nation.

What the hell was that?]

[ Now, America isn't a stranger to bleeding. It was only a few months ago that he was wandering around Discedo with his eye stabbed out and asking people "hey who knows how to clean an eyesocket." Even fewer months than that, his heart literally stopped after a bullet punctured an artery. A cup's worth of blood is nothing. Beyond the initial bite, it's hardly even painful! America is so considerate he's letting his werepire date drink his blood. Isn't he considerate? (Not really, but he thinks he is.)

America sighs when Tatsumi pulls away, assuming the vampire's done. A hand comes up to tap at his neck. Would it be impolite to ask for a band aid? He doesn't know vampire etiquette (and why should he care, really) but he doesn't want blood to dribble all over his clothes. Blood is a bitch to get out.

Still holding his neck, he grins at Tatsumi. ]

Awesome, right?

[ You know what? Fuck it. America will lean in and lick that blood off the corner of his mouth, just to see what all the fuss is about.

...It tastes like blood. Wow that was stupid to expect he'd taste anything different. He's not a damn vampire. In fact, that was kinda gross. He still pretends what he tasted was good and not the plan ol' coppery taste he's used to. ]

[Tatsumi isn't quite sure how to respond, specially the fuzzy feeling he is feeling through his body. It's like his blood went into overdrive and his body hadn't caught up yet. Holy shit what was going on?

Suddenly there is an America at his lips. He does what any natural person would do and starts kissing. Only this time it's fun and he doesn't know why or even care. Maybe America's mouth would taste like chocolate or coffee or something.]

[ Congrats, Tatsumi. You are now tripping AMERICA BLOOD ACID. ...Yes the change in font was necessary. Enjoy your next several hours (or however the blood shit is gonna work) of seeing a vibrant world of melting colors, hallucinating patterns, and generally feeling kickass. It will be awesome, provided you don't get paranoid.

America doesn't realize yet that Tatsumi's on the cusp of a bloody trip. He's a little too preoccupied with the sudden making out. HE IS NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE LEAST.

In fact, he will gladly open his mouth for Tatsumi to explore at his leisure. Luckily for him, it does taste like coffee and... some strange Japanese sweets, since his Japan adventure was probably before this one. Tatsumi, meanwhile, still has America blood on his breath and that's kinda gross but he doesn't especially care. He's too busy making his day WAY BETTER.

MOVE THE FUCK OVER DENMARK, THERE'S A NEW HO IN TOWN. ]

[No reason to get paranoid, specially with America in your mouth. Tatsumi is just going to continue exploring the nation's mouth and sucking on his tongue a little. He does part a moment, pulling America, or perhaps himself closer. he isn't sure how gravity works anymore. He just goes to lock down America's neck to catch whatever blood lingered behind on the mark he left.

Tatsumi looks as America with a big ol' smile, pupils definitely dilated now, before going back to figuring out all the tastes in America's mouth.]

[ May as well make himself comfy. He'll just situate himself in Tatsumi's lap so he doesn't have to crane his (already sore) neck just to kiss.

America notices the dilated pupils, is about to ask, then suddenly there is a tongue right back in his mouth. Okay then. It's probably just a vamp reaction anyway. How the hell would he know, it's his first time with a vampire. He'll just get around to that question eventually. For the moment he's happy enough experimentally running his tongue over Tatsumi's fangs. If he cuts himself it's his own fucking fault.

One last kiss and he pulls away. He grins and lets out a breathy chuckle. ]

Man, if I'd known ya'd react like this, I would've given up the goods sooner!

[ I have no kissing icons so have copious hippies. ]

[React like wat? Tatsumi laughs, not sure and not really caring. Nothing mattered but is was all good and how could be not be happy? This felt nice, good, great, amazing! Was America in his lap? Hell yes!]

Ya... Your blood is amazing! It's like tasting colors or sweets... like your mouth.

[Tatsumi goes to kiss again but stops, staring at America]

Your glasses...

[Without any further explanation he takes them off and looks at them, putting them on and starts laughing. They were magical glasses, making everything really awesome and colorful and even more 3D than it already was and just too amazing for words so he just laughs and looks around at the room with them.]

... No wonder you're always so cool about everything.

[ Now, America is clueless about many things, oblivious to even more, and flat-out ignores the rest, but if there's one thing he knows, it's when people are on something. Somehow, he doesn't think this is how vampires normally act when they drink blood. Granted he only has Dracula to go by but still. He cups both of Tatsumi's cheeks, bringing his face to look in his direction.

...and closer because America's eyesight isn't too great without his glasses. ]

Man are you tripping?

[ What a befuddling situation. Did his blood do this to him? What the hell America had that in his body the whole time when he could be tripping out?! DAMN IT.

Whatever blood was on America's fingertips from holding his wound? He is now licking. Fuck the taste HIS LIFEBLOOD IS DRUGS, APPARENTLY. His next reply is pretty rushed in his efforts to clean his hands of the blood acid. ]

I'm just plain cool, dig? Just how I am!
