[ America sounds out of breath, which is not something that is easily combined with "absolutely hysterical." Like, you can barely tell if he's screaming or sobbing. Not unusual given that his little werepire boyfriend is now eating half the city! Except the reaction isn't exactly expected. ]

O-okay, okay so, I know there's a lot of things bein' said about Tatsumi and... a-and I know, since there's blood and all, and he's gone missing- it's not all his fault-!

[ Um no never. He's going to resume being all happy and whimsical even though he's dating Dracula. ]

Okay so! You know how my blood makes him trip out, right? I just need to lure him to me. Once he's had a good amount of mine, he's going to be way too drugged to really fight back. That's when you gotta chain him!

Thing is... I dunno how much he's gonna try to take, but I'm gonna give however much is necessary to keep everyone safe.

[He grows quiet. Yes, he wants to disagree and shout that there are other ways, but... what other ways are there? Death? Violence? Force? He's not sure how strong Tatsumi is without his chip in. It's a gamble.

America is young and strong... Confident and determined. And if he is there to help him out, maybe he could make sure nothing bad happened. It might go smoothly... It might not, but.

Japan narrowed his eyes in thought, giving a very serious expression.]

I see. America-san is rather rash in this way, isn't he? ...But I will trust this, then. And I will be there, as well, so surely it will end fine.

[ For a moment, America wonders if it's a mistake telling Japan. (Then again, he might have freaked out more once he saw Tatsumi latch onto America's throat). When he accepts it, America breathes a sigh of relief. ]

Sure it will! Hell, you brought me back to life when I got shot to death in the ass! [ he laughs, not quite cheerful, but still amused. ]

I can hold him down with my strength for as long as it take for him to get drugged, so once we find him, it shouldn't take too much.

[STILL EMBARRASSED ABOUT THAT INCIDENT. Looking down off screen.]

[ Ahhh what a dilemma. Robin was American too. ]

Sticking to where there's a lot of people, but I haven't seen anything. Thought I saw him once but I didn't catch up.

[He'll have to ask Dave. It's the least he can do for getting that spare katana...]

I understand. I suppose we should go from the last sighting of him and move from there.

[ He nods in a direction for Japan to follow him in, waiting for the other man to be side-by-side with him before continuing. ]

[He moves that way and gives America a glance.]

With the commotion he has been making, it is impossible to hide forever.

[ He pinches the bridge of his nose and rubs his eyes. ]

I don't even wanna think about what's gonna happen after we get him. Don't most couples just have fights about where to eat for dinner instead of who one of 'em ate?

[ He chuckles humorlessly a bit at that. ]

[Japan's pretty concerned about Tatsumi at this point, but much like America not wanting to tell Japan about his plan... Japan isn't wanting to tell America about these thoughts. Not yet.]

I suppose that can be faced once the time arrives. Do not worry.

[ I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, JAPAN. HE SEEMS PRETTY LEGIT TO ME!!! ]

I believe relationships grow stronger by going through hard times. Perhaps that is what this is.

I believe what you're saying. It's just kinda hard, y'know? It's not just him and me that's on the line, it's... me. He calls me Alfred. So it's something more than just patriotism at hand, and...

[ America shakes his head. ]

[Japan's seeming surprisingly calm. He's not, but he sure looks it. Talking about emotions with anyone is hard man. But Japan feels like he should comfort America, so maybe he could try to relate...]

I understand. There is someone here who I have connected with quite closely, as well. It is not romantic, I have learned, but it is different. He has always viewed me for the person I am rather than the country, though he can understand that side, as well...

I suppose I am trying to say that it is bound to happen here. Strong connections... Living apart from a majority of our citizens is truly a learning experience, as well.

[ America nods enthusiastically; for once, he doesn't pry too much into Japan's own relationships. HE'LL SAVE THAT FOR ANOTHER TIME WHEN ALL THE ATTENTION ISN'T FOCUSED ON HIM. ]

Exactly! And he's one of the few people who likes the human side of me. Loves it, even! He's not my citizen so I don't have to clam up and pretend everything's okay when something's going down with me as a country. We get along well, and he's really good to me--all of me, country, human, everything.
